About Jason »

My name is Jason and I was born in Trenton, MI and raised in Brooklyn, MI. Have been a lifelong Michigan Wolverines fan and have a great disdain for anything from that armpit to the south. My own grandmother was born in Ohio and I've always held it against her. Me and a buddy shared season tickets to the Big House from 2003-2007 but since my move to Chicago in the summer of 2008 we will not be renewing. I didn't have the grades in high school or the money to go to the University of Michigan so I instead attended Central Michigan but never let the maroon and gold take over my maize and blue blood. I went to school for journalism and am now seeking a career as a sports reporter with a goal to write about anything Wolverines.

Haha yep. I've got conflict now because they face Duke.. I'm glad Beilein has got it turned it around though. Hopefully he gets them back to the tournament.

Just basically a little preview from the Michigan perspective. A few questions, about the keys to the game, player to watch, basic things. We could also bring up your new article about rivalries.

Hey Jason

I do a radio show for a website every Thursday. I'm expanding it the program from an hour and a half to two hours and I wanted to, as bad as it could turn out, preview the Michigan/Ohio State game in some capacity. I've yet to decide how I'm going to do it, I want to find out who I can get for the game first.

Let me know if your interested.. It's from 6 to 8 PM ET on Thursday.. Like I said I'm still working out this weeks format so I'm not sure what time specifically, but it would be at most a 10 minute window.

Jason:

You and I talked many times about the Steelers in Park Library at CMU. I must disagree with you however on Cowher quitting. That Oakland game in his last year still bothers me and so do both Ravens games. He drove me nuts a lot but he was a great coach! As far as the line goes, they need to keep Roethlisberger healthy if they want to go anywhere. I also think that Tennessee is the best team in the NFL along with the Giants. 3 is not a bad place to be!
