  1. Why does Peyton Manning take so few sacks? What kind of role does do quarterbacks play in their own sack totals?

  3. I rely on a variety of sources for NFL statistics, and some I compile myself simply by going through the NFL play-by-play.

Yahoo Sports and Fox Sports provide some pretty good stats as more commonly known sites, and NFL.com of course gives you all the basics.

The Football Outsiders website has it's own unique brand of statistics that are very interesting, and they provide great drive stats that I find myself looking up quite a bit.

The Washington Post website is a source as well--that's where I get my dropped passes statistics.

The ultimate NFL stats site is the Stats, Inc. website. They are the root source for a lot of other sites and publications, but they are a pay site. I've never paid, so I don't know the depths of what they have to offer, but I see them referenced all over the place and I know they have great stats.

If there's ever a specific stat you can't find, feel free to ask me and I'll let you know if I know where it can be found.
