Samuel 's Bio

I am a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in magazine journalism and a long-time 49ers fan. I've been featured in Yahoo! Sports, SI Radio and the New York Times.

Other than the 49ers, I find myself cheering for the Oakland Athletics regardless of the team's record. Also, you can find me at HP Pavilion cheering on the San Jose Sharks or at Oracle Arena reliving the "We Believe" era. I became a Warriors fan in 1995-- that was painful.

Growing up in the Berkeley area, any team from UC Berkeley gets my list of teams to cheer for. I also love Michigan State basketball and whenever my alma mater (SJSU) is in the news, I am there too.

And for fun, I also follow the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Follow my 49ers blog: http://mvn.com/miningthegoldrush/
