Tony's Bio

My names Tony Berkshire. I live in a quiet area of the mountains of Western North Carolina. I will primarily offer what editing skills I currently have, but any articles I type will be based around Division I NCAA football.
Growing up 30 minutes from Clemson, I have became a fan of college football merely by going to a few games. Not having friends in that area, I never had a reason to go there until I caught up with an old best friend that introduced me to players on the team and his friends around upstate South Carolina. He got me into a football league and I get to play with college players from all over the South during the off season.

So thats pretty much what I do, work to play.

  1. Hey Tony, I could be off on this one but is that Willy Korn in your picture? I've heard a lot about this guy as a potential star QB once Cullen Harper is out of the mix. What are your thoughts about that?

  2. Wadup Tony.

No topics in particular—feel free to write about whatever you want.

Glad you like the new site...we'll be in touch as always. Hope you're having a great weekend bro.

  3. Hey Tony,

I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Tony!

  4. Tony, thanks for the editing of Federer's loss to Djokovic. I appreciate it and hope you can help me in the future.

  5. Thanks for looking at my first article and the edit on the typo. I was writing the story at about 3 a.m. local time as the Australian Open is on live at such a different time. Speaking from experience, no ammount of caffeine can prevent a few typos! Thanks again!

  6. Tony, thanks for the edit on my "Odds and Ends from Bleacher Seat" column, especially for the paragraph breaks which I had intended but didn't manage when I filed. You've made some appropriate corrections but also some changes I disagree with. One glaring one for me was changing my wording "ergo" -- which means consequently -- to "ego" in my short take on the Skins-Seahawks game. This changed the meaning and effect of the point I was making, which is that if the Skins want to insist that Taylor's "presence" helped them win games then it also had to be part of the loss to the Seahawks. They can't have it both ways.
