Philadelphia Phillies Fans: Don't Worry About a Thing
10/04/2009
Hello all,
Just wanted to drop by and give a little update on what I have been up to. My school work and a few other activities have kept me from getting back into the swing of things on Bleacher Report and my football blog. I've tried to get something down quite a few times, but I can't seem to get the ideas flowing right now. I apologize for missing out on the entire playoff run for the Phillies on B/R. I realize that as a CL and FC, I should have been more active and responsive, but it wasn't all that possible. I am hoping to begin writing every week or so, but I can't guarantee anything. Right now, I'm simply at a standstill.
Two pieces I will promise are a season recap and an offseason preview. These will include opinions from other Phillies' writers, something I have done quite a few times as CL of the team. The usual members, and possibly a few more, will be contacted about this shortly.
Can Jason Werth repeat his season in 2010?

Brad Lidge, Brian Fuentes, Jonathan Broxton, and Mariano Rivera got it done.
Huston Street, Jonathan Papelbon, Ryan Franklin, and Joe Nathan did not.
The first four will be playing in the next round. The last four will not.
I think that's proof just how important closers are to their respective teams in the playoffs...

I'm FINALLY writing about the Orioles again. I was very busy with Ravens stuff. But this is basically an offseason preview. The O's will be plenty busy this offseason, and here, I answered how the O's problems can be fixed, and actually pretty easily.

DeleteChristian,
I was wondering about the post-season Phillies story.
I saw the note on your profile.
I will be ready, willing and able whenever you are.
Tell me what piece you want me to do.
Thanks!
Scott
