No that Battier will retire, the Heat either need to upgrade at the Small Forward position, or the Center position and move Bosh and LeBron to their natural position. I say go for Caron Butler and Marcin Gortat. But Gortat would be less likely to go to Miami.
PG - Chalmers/Cole/Napier
SG - Wade/Allen/Jones
SF - Lewis/Ennis/Caron Butler
PF - LeBron/Haslem/Bealsey
C - Bosh/Anderson/Oden
Chalmers averaged 10 points a game for a terrible Heat team as a rookie. As said in 2k13 or 2k14, Chalmers was the perfect compliment for the Big 3.
Why does everybody hate Chalmers, he just has a slump and the most unluckiest time. But he still has talent. I'd take him on the Hawks as the 6th man.
Do you think Chalmers should stay with the Heat?
I do, it's just one bad series no one wanted to replace LeBron after the 2011 finals. I think he would pick it back up next season. Unless Rio gets offered a huge contract (what team would?) then Chalmers should stay.
Let's see if the Heat get LeBron back..., doubtful. Bosh and Wade are much more likely.
The (reported) Rockets-Pelicans' trade...
Rockets receive: 1st Round Pick (1-3, 20-30 Protected)
Pelicans receive: Asik, $1.5 Million in Cash
I jizzed my pants.
You over the Finals yet? Even it's been like a weak it still hurts. I hate the Spurs.
LeBron, Wade, and Bosh opt out and re-sign for $16M each. Haslem opts out and re-signs for $2.5M. Chalmers re-signs for $4.5M. Allen re-signs for 2M. Birdman re-signs for 1.5M. Jones, Lewis, Oden, and Beasley re-sign for $1M. That would save about $18M. Sign James Ennis, draft Shabazz Napier or PJ Hairston. Go after big men.
Back to the NBA finals.
