I am currently a Sports Editor for a weekly newspaper, the Liberty Hill Independent, in Liberty Hill, TX. I am also in the Copy Editing Intern program for Bleacher Report and in 2010 I interned for DallasCowboys.com.

For half a year I was a news reporter in Marble Falls, TX. I covered several beats including schools, crime and city council to name a few.

I currently cover high school sports, NBADL basketball (Austin Toros), AHL hockey (Texas Stars) and minor league baseball (Round Rock Express).

While working for the Cowboys I covered every training camp practice, traveled on the team charter, covered two preseason games and almost every home game in 2010. In addition I wrote weekly previews leading up to game day.

I also was a sports reporter for the San Marcos Daily Record in San Marcos, TX. I love to write and express my thoughts and news about the hot topics, the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and Texas State University, where I earned my BA in General Mass Communications from the School of Journalism.
