Charles's Bio

Born into a Gator family and raised in Crescent City Florida. Joined the Air Force in 1983 and became a Worldwide Firefighter. Retired in 2005 after 21 years and 8 months of service. Currently teach for Flagler County Schools. I'm also a freelance writer. My website is "The Florida Writer" at http://flawriter.com. Some of my hobbies include: Going to the gym, and the beach, watching sports, reading, writing, and playing playstation with my son. I also attend, cover and report on all Crescent City Raider High School Football home games for the Courier Journal Newspaper in Crescent City, Florida. It was the fall of 72. I was playing sandlot baseball with some friends across the street from my house. Game tied, 2 outs, bottom of the 9th and I was up. Count was 3-2, The pitch, THE HIT......GOING GOING ......GONE! Right through my neighbor's window(Mr.Rap). We won the game and I ran home with my autographed black 34" George Foster bat. What a RUSH!
Most Memorable Game Attended

The only NFL football game my dad ever took me to. The Falcons vs. Rams. Old School.....and the Falcons lost.
Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Probably that guy who holds the world record for eating the most hotdogs ever....:) No seriously, I'm not sure.
