It was more an indictment on the rest of the NFC North than anything else.

I mean, he's been at least as good as Kitna so far this year...probably better. He's no worse than Orton.

And my argument on Rodgers was that nobody knew how good or bad he'd be. Favre had been mediocre for years, yet he didn't beat him out for the job and Green Bay fans seemed to think he wasn't geood enough...why else would they have taken Favre's side in the whole off-season thing?

Clearly, as of right now, Rodgers is the best quarterback in that division... but that wasn't the case when I wrote the article...
