I'm a 21 year old student from Vancouver, BC, Canada. For as far as I can remember I have been a diehard fan of sports, more specifically hockey, baseball, tennis, and college football. I have found an outlet in Bleacher Report where I can write my opinions as a journalist as opposed to just a fan, and am hoping it aids me in the future as I plan on graduating from university with a degree in Journalism. I spent August 2011 to October 2011 working as a writing intern for B/R and it was one of the most beneficial experiences I have ever been a part of. Over that time span I saw my writing significantly improve, and it allowed me to become more creative with my articles. In September 2012 I will begin a two-year program at the College of Sports Media in Toronto, ON, Canada, where I hope to graduate with a diploma in Radio & Television Sports Broadcasting.
I am currently a Featured Columnist for the Vancouver Canucks of the NHL and previously LSU Tigers Football. Thank you for visiting my profile, and check out my work!

you are absolutely dillusional if you actually think that the rangers are the most powerful team in the east.
Go back to canada ..you embarassing the whole journalist industry. The flyers and the devils have more than enough fire power, offensively and defensively to shut down the rangers.
Rangers will be luck to get past Ovie and the caps
Nice job with the Canucks articles. You officially have a new fan on this site and a new follower on Twitter!
So what's the deal with NCAA football this season? Is LSU going to take the National Title or what?
keep up the great articles! really enjoy your writing
john, just watched a fascinating program on pbs 'frontline' about concussions and other injuries in u.s. high school football. it also looked at the pressure on these players to win at the cost of their safety and at college recruitment practises. well worth watching. just go to pbs online, 'frontline'.
john, did you read the article i saturday. august 20th 'globe and mail' about the courtnel(sp?) brothers' and their struggles with depression? check it out if you have not.
