Mr. Lazar has been an active Firefighter/Emergency Medical Provider for over 25 years. Mr. Lazar started his fire service career in 1987 where he served with the Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department. He has also served as a Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician with the Juniata Gap Volunteer Fire Department in Altoona, PA; Penn State University Ambulance Service and Alpha Community Ambulance in State College, PA; Gaithersburg Volunteer Fire Department and Rockville Volunteer Fire Department in Rockville, MD. Currently serves Rockville as a Deputy Chief in charge of training.
Craig, thank you for your thoughtful comments on my article. I probably should have refrained from speculating on what the NCAA might do short of shutting the program down. Are the sanctions imposed on USC a guide? Those are the stiffest penalties I remember short of SMU. Thanks again, Ken
