  1. Hey, man, it's that guy Antwonomous that left a comment on your site yesterday. I transport my stuff from my blog onto here, too. Check me out.

    Peace.

  2. Hey Andrew,

I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Andrew!

    Zander

  3. It probably is slightly redundant but I get the random email from readers asking a question here or there. So I like to have it handy. Also, not everyone knows what channcebot is so my preference is to have that info available somewhere in the article with them having to click over to my site to see.

Talk it over with Ryan and Zander. If two links is deemed excessive I can drop one. But I would like it to be consistent because my concept is to be able to produce these power ranking pieces regularly and painlessly. By programming the bot to do the bulk of the work, it will free me up to get back to editorial style pieces which I haven't been able to do over the last few weeks.

Writing on BR has been good for my site and I want to make sure we are always in win-win territory. If there is ever anything that I'm doing that BR is simply 'tolerating' I do want to know about it. So if the two liks are a concern, let me know.

    best regards

  4. Andrew, what specifically is the concern?

I do like having my email address there and also the power ranking articles are completely auto-generated. I had kinda gone over all with Zander (and possibly Ryan if I am remembering correctly) to make sure BR was OK with stuff before I coded how the peices would look.

  5. Hi Andy, thanks for taking a look over my pieces and for the feedback. I really appreciate it. You guys definitely know what you're doing. It's nice to be writing in that kind of environment. Cheers,

  6. thanks for the edit of my Left Tackle article. I do cite my source as the book and i did use it for informaition however the way i pieced some thing together I think are still my own thoughts. I think most articles written do use another source as their point of reference. Again I know what you are saying but after reading this book i really wanted to write this piece as in the book he never CLEARLY states the direct correlation. His point is more about Michael Oher. Thanks again for your input.

  7. thanks for the edit hope you liked my article i have many more you can check out

  8. Great edit, thanks a ton

  9. Hey thanks for the edit, looks great. Yeah, Im a big fan of the grinder guys too

AS far as the list, I wanted to include the accomplishments in the article, but ran out of time/space, so I just put it at the end, but this looks better

    thanks

  10. I added some more stats to it to try to make it a little Calgary centred too, take a look I think it's much better than the original.

  11. Hey Andrew,
Thanks for the edit on my article on Shaq. I think you've made some very appropriate changes that were very much needed to be made, and I really appreciate it!
    Thanks a lot!

    David

  12. Hey- thanks for editing and reading my piece. I was tempted to include guys like Raines and McGwire who will likely see a little more support or guys like Neagle and Avery who won't get much support, but I wanted to keep it short. Glad you read it...
    Ben

  13. thanks for that...i read them over and i found original stuff that i tweaked a little too...when it's something a little more emotional (I've been hell bent on defending Sundin for a while) i've always tended to need a little tweaking to get it right...thanks again.

  14. hey Andrew... thanks for the editing there... Good changes!

  15. Hey, Andy. Most of the things I publish are articles I wrote for the school newspaper at Jax St. So I only had a certain amount of characters I could use. And really there aren't any figures to throw out, so I couldn't go too far into detail. But thanks for the edits and hope you enjoy the next one...it's gonna get some people fired up.
