Lisa's Bio

I was born and raised in a small Canadian town, and instead of growing up like a standard girl to liking shopping/clothes/etc my love for sports kept expanding. In fact I played softball during highschool until grade 10 (then there wasn't enough to make a team). Hockey has always been my game though. In our family you basically either choose to be a Habs fan, or a Leafs fan. I of course chose the Habs.

I guess I could add that I always had a dream to be a part of the NHL. Maybe it will never actually happen, but I feel writing on this website gives me some hope and makes me feel like I am a part of it (except when unnecessary things are said).

    Hey Lisa.

    I know how hard that CFL article was on you but I want to let you know that you're a valuable part of both the Montreal Canadiens Community and the CFL Community. I've started to become involved in the CFL Community (please don't hate me...I'm a Blue Bombers fan, haha) and I think that we could really make it a happening place.

    So again, just keep your chin up and keep on writing, don't let anyone get you down k?

    Hello Lisa,

    Please write a letter of apology to the CFL fans that you have offended in your recent article on race related issues in the Praries. There have been many people that have found it very offensive that somthing like that has been published (see here http://www.cfl.ca/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=25979 ). I for one am very dissapointed that you did not properly do your research and you have basically published your un informed opinions on a topic that can be very charged, unfortunatly your opinion in this matter is quite far from reality. Please don't take this as a flaming post or an abusive post, I am just hoping that you make it right.

    First off, I'm really sorry to hear that some people have discouraged you from writing.

    Worry not though, I'm here to help!

    When you see an inappropriate comment on one of your articles, make sure to click "Flag as Offensive." This will alert me of the remark and I'll be able to delete it/reprimand the author accordingly.

    In addition: profanity and harassment are violations of Bleacher Report's Terms of Use and something we take very, very seriously. If there is a particular user who is giving you trouble, don't hesitate to email me at zander@bleacherreport.com and I will look into the issue.

    Oh wow. Busy busy. Yeah sometimes the articles come out in spurts here and there. So many ideas, so much writing. But yeah, for sure you've written some solid Canadiens articles in the past, so keep up the good stuff!

    the thing is, if u have a plan or something in mind, let me know. so we dont write about the same things, and get diversed articles in our community.
    but take ur time, the season isn't over yet, we have all summer to have fun on this!
