Zach's Bio

Zach Smith is an accounting and finance student at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Writing about Demon Deacon Athletics, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), and NCAA athletics in general serve as an enjoyable hobby and diversion.

Most of Smith's writing is published on his Wake Forest athletics blog, the Old Gold & Blog, which can be found at oldgoldandblog.com - however his writings with greater national interest will appear here at Bleacher Report as well.

Although Smith grew up an Oklahoma Sooner fan living in Houston, Texas, attending Wake Forest has made him a passionate Deacon fan with a keen interest in the ACC. He reports heavily on Wake's Basketball and Football teams and also covers soccer, baseball, and other non-revenue sports when he can.

Any comments or questions for Zach can be posted in his profile or sent to oldgoldblog@gmail.com

  1. Hey Zach,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Zach!

    Zander
