    Hi there Dee. How has it been going for you this summer?

    Looks like you had a good time with the draft. I wrote up my team's doings, but I wish we had something as organised as the NYI bloggers seem to be. Any tips on getting myself an inside track?

    We never did finish our debate (more diplomatic than if we had been cursing at each other!), but I'm sure it's safe to put on a backburner and just enjoy the game. I may not fully agree with you, but I completely respect your opinion. It is good that there are a few folks that know the other side. Adam was going to write an article on Bettman, and I told him to look you up to get some good details.

    I wanted to tell you that I have been doing a hockey trivia series to keep everyone's minds on hockey and force them into the depths of hockey's legends. I'm hoping it will help people learn some tidbits about the game, and if people keep putting their answers on their profile pages, then it will induce random readers to look at more profiles, an hopefully read their articles. So I am trying to get some of this site's most popular/best writers to participate, because that will draw new viewers into their areas of expertise. If you like it, spread the word. I statrted this for many reasons, but I really want more people to read new things by writers they haven't yet discovered.

    Anyway, I hope all is well. Are you actually on the Island? Must be hot!

    Hi Dee. Read your piece about your meeting of John Buccigross from ESPN. Congrats on what seemed to be a great time.

    Loved the photo of you in the bedroom with the Isles stuff. Nice Olympus camera.

    Great to have a woman's perspective on hockey. What do you think if Barry Melrose going to the Lightning?

    And the thought of having hockey back on ESPN... Be still my beating heart! I was distraught when I heard the league extended their contract with Vs. Boo! Bettman is pubic enema #1.
