A third generation Cubs fan raising a fourth who appreciate good baseball when I see it; only cheers against the White Sox when they're playing the Cubs. Wishes the Bulls would stop rebuilding, hit puberty, and win. Wishes the Bears would drop the Cover 2 and play defense like men.

Had a Blackhawks article referenced on ESPN.com on November 19, 2009. Regularly has articles from B/R picked up by CBS Sports covering Chicago's Cubs, Sox, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks. Had my first article picked up by NHL.com on Nov. 9, 2009. Has also been featured on Spector's Hockey.

From Lyle Richardson at Spectors Hockey:

BLEACHER REPORT: Tab Bamford reports on the potential holdups in the Chicago Blackhawks finalizing potential new contracts for Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith. Bamford suggests the team is likely trying to ensure the contracts pass the scrutiny of the league, which is currently investigating the long-term contract the club signed with Marian Hossa, as well as passing the league's "tagging rule", which prevents a team "from having more money committed to the following season than the current year's salary cap". That means with this year's cap at $56.8 million the Blackhawks payroll for next season isn't allowed to exceed that number.

Haha sorry sir about me saying you are full of crap, i just did'nt want anyone writing anything yet because he wasnt released yet until today. I really did not care about any of his issues i just wanted him to shut up and do his talking on the field, but that never happened. I wanted him to stay with the Chiefs because i honestly admit he was my favorite player he is my favorite all-time player to ever play in this league and for the Chiefs. I now have to go find a new favorite player on the chiefs, perhaps Matt Cassel, Dwayne Bowe, or Glenn Dorsey that are smart enough not to say gay slurs and beat up women. HAHA

Hey Tab:

Toews got leveled earlier in the week in a perfectly clean hit; Mike Richards had a clean hit on David Booth last night. But it was controversial. Should he be suspended or not?

Will you give it a read, and opinions? Much appreciated, man!

Tab, thanks for reading my KK article...please feel free to comment there as well. :-D

My sense is that Hawks management have Huet on a very short leash. Something has not been right with his game since last season, and that's why they tried to move him in March.

Unless he makes a dramatic about-face, Huet may be done in Chicago. The Hawks might just waive him, and wave good-bye.

You don't sign a 5-plus MIL per year multiyear deal and then come apart at the seams the way Huet has. He's a shadow of the goalie he was in MTL and WSH.

Who knows why...
