14 year old sports fan, particularly a fan of detroit teams and the university of michigan
Brad you are kidding right? Alabama Tradition 8. How old are you? Bama's been playing and winning football games since 1892. I understand your devotion to Michigan, but I'll put Alabama All-Americans, Alabama coaches, Alabama Championships and Bowl games and the Iron bowl, and our tradition up against your Big Blue any day or night...! Did you know that the Coach of the year trophy is named after Bear Bryant. It ain't Nute Rockne.
Kyle Field at #10 on your list of best stadiums is ridiculous. All the stadiums you listed are great venues, but A&M's Kyle Field was hurt in your points structure because it only had a 6 for tradition. Although A&M hasn't won a national championship lately, Texas A&M is ground zero for tradition, and Kyle Field is the biggest part. The 12th Man. The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Everyone standing the ENTIRE game, even halftime. The scoreboard built outside the stadium so previous Reveilles (the mascot, a collie) can see the score from their nearby burial plots. I am not a fan of the Aggies, but tradition permeates everything about that school, its campus, and especially Kyle Field.
If you want to know about 'tradition' do your home work.
Brad.. I would love to interview you on BAMS radio. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
We do a weekly show every Wed nite. Love to get your input on the Big 10.
Brad seems like an insightful fellow. I've read everyone's comments and he seems among the most balanced.
