Marlon graduated with his B.A. degree in journalism from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2008. He enjoys watching basketball, football, baseball, and tennis. His favorite athletes are Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, Rafael Nadal, and Joakim Noah.

His favorite sports teams are the Cleveland Indians and the Florida Gators. He says he's grateful to the Gators for winning championships because it cancels out the losing of the Indians. He feels he will be waiting the rest of his life for the Indians to win the World Series.

Marlon enjoys watching television and movies, and playing video games. His favorite video game is the NCAA Football games on the Playstation 2. Among his favorite television shows and movies are: Happy Days. Bewitched, Password, Match Game, Major League, The Sandlot, Family Ties, and the Wonder Years.
