About

I am a 2011 graduate of the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse where I studied professional and organizational communication and business administration. During all four years of college I worked with the Northwoods League, most recently serving as the Director of Operations for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. In addition to these professional experiences, I have spent a large portion of my life around the game of baseball. Whether playing, coaching, writing, or broadcasting, I always enjoy being around the diamond or discussing any and all topics related to the game of baseball. I am a die-hard Cubs fan but I love following every MLB team as much as I can.

beltre signing with the rangers really creates a tough situation for the angels who seemingly missed on everyone this off-season. i wonder if they'll sign rafael soriano...

rangers are reportedly close to an agreement with beltre... michael young to 1st base or DH? i bet young is still a ranger on opening day even with beltre on board.

couple quick predictions for the big names that are still on the market:

    molina- padres
    laroche- nationals
o-cab- reds or possibly tigers if he's willing to play second
    renteria- marlins
    beltre- angels
    podsednik- reds
    manny- rays
thome- twins or angels if they get beltre
    vlad- rangers

    pettitte- yankees, not retirement
    pavano- twins
    fuentes- rays
    gregg- orioles
    rauch- yankees
soriano- angels (yankees, white sox, cardinals would be interesting landing spots though)
    balfour- yankees

laroche has to take the offer from the nats right? if he doesn't sign there, i could tampa bay as a possible fit or maybe maybe the padres still want an upgrade. the nationals seem like the logical choice though. especially with a multiyear offer.

i thought derrek lee would sign with the nationals but he got a nice deal with the o's. he could always be traded to another contender if baltimore falls out of contention.

Where have you been the last 5 years? Brian McCann made his 5th allstar game this year, not first.
