San Francisco Giants: Brian Sabean Doing Things the Right Way With Farm System

I grew up on the south shore of Long Island and at the age of 10 became an SF Giants fan in 1962. Seven years later I moved closer to the Giants, graduating from Stanford University in 1973 with a degree in creative writing. After spending the next 8 years in LA as a rock n'roll musician and songwriter, I moved back to the Bay Area and embarked on a career as a freelance writer, primarily in high tech marketing and advertising. Although I moved back to Long Island in 2004, my passion for the Giants remains unabated. It's nice to finally know how it feels to be a World Series champion!
Jon--the trophy is coming to NY next year. The Giants figured there was a few fans left there who might enjoy seeing it. I am stuck in LA and maybe can see it in AZ during Spring Training. My Grandson was born this year and my son told me: "Chase is the only one of us who has never known the Giants to be defeated". Chase was born a year to early, and was name for Chase Utely. A year later and he might have been Cody or Edgar---best regards!!
