A writer since 1994, Josh has an extensive background in covering sports. After leaving the business for a few years, Nason found blogging in 2007, starting up New England sports and media centric Small White Ball.com and being the first sports blog to break the news on the ESPN Dana Jacobson story. In 2008, Nason started RopesRingCage.com - a site focusing strictly on MMA, wrestling and boxing.

Nason has written extensively for Wrestling-Online.com, 411wrestling (now 411mania.com), the Maine Campus, Bangor Daily News, Manchester (NH) Magazine, Australian men's magazine Apollo and CBSSports.com.

Currently, his work can be read in MMA-industry leader FIGHT! Magazine, BloodyElbow.com and WrestlingObserver.com.

In March 2011, Nason joined WrestlingObserver/F4WOnline.com co-founder Bryan Alvarez to launch a bi-weekly MMA interview series on the popular combat sports website. He then co-launched the WGAM MMA Show with PJ Huot on ESPN-affiliate WGAM Radio (www.WGAMthegame.com) in May 2011, an hour-long show that focuses on fighter interviews and the New England MMA scene.
