Grew up outside Toledo, Ohio with absolutely no athletic ability -- unless you count marching band. Followed Toledo minor league teams. Decided to like a sport nobody else liked in 1995 & picked hockey. That was also the year it was announced the Browns were moving out of Cleveland. Pitied them -- and hated the Ravens -- ever since.
Baptized in Black & Gold when I moved to Pittsburgh for college in 1999; lived three blocks away from the sites of PNC Park and Heinz Field.
Working since 2002 as a graphic designer for a beer wholesaler founded by Steelers part-owner Jack McGinley. Exposed to sports talk radio; idolized Jim Rome and Stan Savran. Competed in the 2008 and 2009 ESPN 1250-AM "Top Fan" contests, placing in the top ten and first alternate respectively.
