  1. I actually just joined. I saw it on your facebook and then read some blog on yahoo that referenced it. This seems like a fun site for me to rant and rave about hockey!

  3. Hey, Cecile!

Thank's for editing my write... And selecting it for pick of the day, with that "Stanley Cup Traditions: past and present" being only my third write for this site... It inspires me a great deal to write more! Anyways, just wanted drop a quick line and send out my thankfulness and appreciate to you!

  4. thanks for the help and the pick!

  5. Cecile, that was a great edit. The title is a little cheeky. Hey, I skated @ the Bell Centre in Montreal in December. You talk about nice ice. We had just gone on after watching the Habs practice (cool) and the ice was awesome. We were @ a CCM/RBK equipment test day and even on new skates that ice was crisp, fast and tres bien! Thanks again on the ed.

  6. thanks for the editing

  10. Hi there Cecile,

I just wanted to say thanks to my first BleacherReport editor, and the generous response. I guess I showed a bit of laxity; I tend to introduce each team fully at first mention in a piece, but I didn't really revise well before posting. I tend to enjoy editing, but it is always different with one's own work, and I was impatient to publish. Anyroad, I appreciate the fine tuning... it looks great.

I also tend to forget about the spacing for online. Once again, looks great, thanks.

Until recently I've been writing for a very specific audience, so it's neat to see what everyone thinks and what they are up to in a venue that has a broader scope.

I did just want to let you know (in case you checked back and thought I was mad/illiterate) that I reverted the spellings of afew words that you edited. It must have looked pretty sloppy in places, but the spellings I use are of the Canadian/British variety. Perhaps you didn't realise that words like realise and organisation are spelled with "s" instead of "z" (although some people use both spellings). I also use the "u" in honour, favour, colour etc, and the "re" rather than "er" of things like theatre, metre, and centre. Didn't want to alarm you!

Also, did you find the use of the term "the Oil" ineffectual? That is one of the terms for Edmonton, but I left your edit because it looked good. Just wanted to check if that might be local term, but I thought I'd heard it on HNIC.

Anyway, thanks again! Take care and see you on the boards! Neat to see Campbell in SJ
