Brian's Bio
I'm a longtime fan of the New York Giants, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants, Boston Celtics and men's basketball at Providence College and the University of Rhode Island.
I like soccer played at a high level, but profess no particular fanship other than to the U.S. men's and women's teams in international competition.
I was a sports reporter for several daily newspapers and covered high school, college and pro action. My most recent stint was a decade ago.
I've played all major sports and many minor ones at one time or other. My best sports were soccer and ice hockey.

Hey, thanks Brian, for taking the time to read my work and for adding my article, Lions Achieve Immortality, as a favorite. Best wishes to you for the coming year.

thanks for the pick Brian. The Lions do offer an opportunity to explore the dross in the world, though I wouldn't mind not being the butt of everyone's football joke, year in, year out! Cheers,

55,000 +/- Americans have witnessed the last Cubs championship...with the numbers declining rapidly.
By 2018 there will only be 55 left as only one in a thousand centenarians see 110.

Where you been mon?
I was fooling around with my profile and deleted everyone on my lists so I'm hunting mutual fan/fans back down.
There's another Big East writer to meet...Jameson Fleming...he's really good.
