I posted the first edition of the weekly Spurs roundtable. You can still join the fun if you have the time.

Content wise, it turned out great. There are some format and publishing bug issues I need to fix.

Send me an email ASAP to robertkleeman@mail.utexas.edu and let me know if you'd be interested in joining the Spurs roundtable I mentioned below.

One of the four people I asked has already responded, so if I can get four or five together soon, including myself, we might be able to do one for next week.

I would love to have you on board for this weekly adventure, so let me know.

    Juki,
I am about to write a piece on the Spurs guard glut, but before I do, would like to see if you and the other Spurs fans would want to join?

The article theme is simple: This is the deepest backcourt Popovich has ever coached, so what should he do with it? Who gets the minutes, who sits and what lineups would be most effective?

Let me know by tonight if you're interested. Some Dallas Mavericks fans have been doing a weekly roundtable. I dig it. So, us Spurs fans should do one, too. The easy thing to do would be to set a weekend deadline built around when the games are and then have people email stuff to me or someone else if he/she wants to take charge.

We would craft some standard questions to answer, review the week's games, highlight standout players and preview the upcoming contests. Let me know if you're interested.

Well if that's the case, then I must apologize

I just published an extended piece on the Spurs season if you are interested. Thanks for the compliments.

Manu may think he is ready, but he should know better than that. Popovich letting him come back early when the team's title hopes hinge on his brilliance and health? Maybe they should add amnesia to the list of things wrong with Ginobili.

I expect Ginobili to return by the end of the month, but certainly not next week. I would not risk a rushed return because one more injury misstep could jeopardize the Spurs already thin chances at a title this season.
