Hello, my name is Thomas Chippendale and I am a senior at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. I am a huge fan of German Football and follow the National Team and the Bundesliga (Bayern Munich) as much as I can. And like any other football fan, I can't avoid the English Premier League (Tottenham Hotspur) and La Liga ( Real Madrid).
Hi Thomas, how are you? How is your opinion about Germany team now? I have just followed the results from Schalke and Bilbao match and I make a note from that match. My note is the following
The danger of Athletic Bilbao is from about 30 players, they only have 1 foreigners. 29 players are completely Spanish!!. You can check it from Yahoo Espana. I think Germany should be careful of this fact. It is true that Germany has developed youth system and they have good players like Ozil or Gotze in the team. However if you go to Bundesliga page and check all players in every club squad, you will find that many young German players hardly get a chance to play in Bundesliga. This is not the case for La Liga. Apart from Real Madrid, many local players are given a lot of opportunity to play in La Liga.
I think German clubs should give more chances to local players and limit the foreign players. Otherwise, it is difficult to have a real chance for winning either Euro or World Cup in the future. It is a pity that Spain who suffers the crisis a lot have much better development for their young players than Germany
