About

Publisher of Blue Chip Scouting, 1990 - 2009. I have scouted college football for the better part of 20 years and have published countless magazines with a subscriber fanbase (which included certain NFL teams) around the U.S. and Canada. As of 2010 I no longer publish my magazines but still maintain a strong database and library of collegiate football players/teams and their evaluations. I also continue to maintain a video library of collegiate games that go back countless years that have been used to evaluate players and teams. I am a keen evaluator of collegiate football talent due to my years of scouting and dedication and will let my work speak for itself.

I have proven to be as an astute evaluator of potential NFL talent as there is. Originally known as "Mason’s Draft Forecast" in its infancy, I have continually refined and upgraded my work throughout the years. I first began while operating as the Sports Director at WCHW in Michigan, on my daily sports talk radio show. A short few years later the very first edition was published in the spring of 1990 with Harold Green of South Carolina and Anthony Thompson of Indiana gracing the front cover. Since that time I have also been a frequent guest on radio talk shows across the country. I work primarily out of my office in my home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

My player evaluations and team analysis are very unique. My work is completed with not only my readers but also as well as providing a professional scouting evaluation that NFL teams can utilize. My work is not a grouping of statistics compiled in a large text paragraph, nor is it too detailed and dry. I have perfected the art of enjoyable, informative and professional evaluations and analysis. The profiles and evaluations are completed with the intention of being a very enjoyable read while incorporating a similar scouting report that each NFL team uses. This provides the readers with an in-depth professional scouting evaluation and/or analysis while not bogging you down with too much trivial information. This formula has resulted in NFL teams and agents calling to purchase copies of my work. One NFL team called the week prior to the 2006 NFL Draft asking for additional copies of my Draft Preview Issue to be mailed overnight to them immediately!
