Dale Decker commented on 10 Reasons the Pats Were Beaten:
I suppose one can pick apart both teams if you really wanted...but the reality is quite simple. 1. On a bad day, Brady is a better...

Joined the Navy in '76. Did not retire, but my wife, (whom I met while stationed in Australia) just did. We now live on Guam in the Pacific Ocean. Long time Lions & Wolverines fan. Fair weather Red Wings and Tigers fan. (When Sparky Anderson retired, so did I, when Yzerman retired, so did I)
Apparently, it wasn't too early to call the Lions - Dolphins game, as I penned on July 25, 2010, that the Lions would win, and indeed they did. I was on hand for the Lions victory at Sun Life Stadium in section 103. It was a great victory!

Thanks for reading and commenting on my article, Dale. The future has to be bright for the Saints if they pick up where they left off this year. I think a big reason for the Colts defeat was that their offense was stuck on the bench for almost the entire second quarter and the first part of the third. By the time they got the ball back, they had lost the lead and had to play catch up. They had lost control of the game and put themselves in a position where a mistake could be more costly than usual. That eventually happened and the Saints won the Super Bowl.

The Michigan/Notre Dame game has the feel once again of a typical rivalry game. Both teams look good last week, but see what the Irish NEED to do in order to be successful for a second Saturday in a row. Don't be shy, even you Wolverines!
