Dr. Billi Gordon, a Dowagiac Michigan native and University of Michigan alumnus, currently resides in Los Angeles California. His speciality is human brain research, and serves as the chair of the Advisory Committee for Collection Concerns in medicine. Dr. Gordon has authored four books and completed his Post Doctorate in Functional Neuro-imaging and Brain Research at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He uses fMRI to investigate the biological basis of human behavior. His areas of research interest are the neuroanatomy of emotion, interoceptive awareness (how we feel what we feel) in relation to the pathophysiology of stress as an antecedent to disease. Dr. Gordon is represented by Dupree-Miller for literary, and Creative Artists Agency (CAA), for television and film. He is under contract to Freemantle/ Original Productions, and they are producing his television show, for launch in 2011.
