  I am sure TCU's spring sports teams will enjoy those early season "natural geographic rivalry" trips to Storrs and Syracuse. And how many TCU football fans do you think will make the trips there? Their travel costs and missed class time for their athletes should be staggering. Is that the ACC calling Boise?

  Great article yesterday on Top 50 players. Agree Herschel Walker was the best. As for the backs, you have Georgia too low. Don't forget Frank Sinkwich, Charlie Trippi, Willie McLendon, Tim Worley, Rodney Hampton, Knowshon Moreno, and Garrison Hearst. Had the Heisman been voted after the bowl games, Hearst would have won it instead of Toretta.
