BRUCE MADDY-WEITZMAN, PhD (Tel Aviv University, 1988). Senior Research Fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies. Fields of specialization: contemporary Middle Eastern history, inter-Arab relations, and the modern Maghrib.

Author of The Crystallization of the Arab State System, 1945-1954 (1993), Palestinian and Israeli Intellectuals in the Shadow of Oslo and Intifadat al-Aqsa (2002), and articles on regional Arab politics and Maghrib affairs. Coeditor of Religious Radicalism in the Greater Middle East (1997). Editor (1995-2000) / Co-editor 1994) of the Center's annual yearbook, Middle East Contemporary Survey. Co- editor of The Camp David Summit - What Went Wrong? (2005). Co-editor of The Maghrib in the New Century: Identity, Religion and Politics (forthcoming, 2007).

Member of the Israel Association of Baseball. Coached numerous Israeli national teams in internationaal competitions. Assistant coach of the Ra'anana Express, in the Israel Baseball League's inaugural 2007 season.

Hey Bruce,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
