kiwi born, living in Australia, in love with a North American sport!

My love affair with Hockey started when i met my wife. She was already a mad Dallas Stars fan, so i naturally took up an interest in the sport. That passion for the sport was truly confirmed in 2006 when Wendy (my wife) and I went on a "pilgrimage" to Dallas, TX for 2 weeks and literally lived Dallas Stars Hockey. It was the best 2 weeks of our lives, and our love and passion for the sport has simply exploded from that point on.

    Not a sports moment as such, but meeting Jere Lehtinen and Mike Modano and getting to stop and chat with them would be at the top of the list. After that, it would be seeing the smile on my wifes face when she met Mike Modano... that smile will be something i never forget.

    Our very first live NHL game.. the Stars lost to the Ducks, but it was still the best ever.
