Jimmy McMurrey commented on Defenders Who Will Dominate in 2012:
Kind of a crime to not have an Alabama player, but eh.

Alabama Crimson Tide fan, but not Auburn hater. They can be mutually exclusive, but make no mistake that I am an Alabama fan, especially during the Iron Bowl.

Jenny McMurrey, on my favorite writers list, is my beautiful, beloved wife and she loves my fiery beard (which is now gone).
Hey Jimmy,
Don't worry about it—I was born and raised redneck in the heart of Texas (I just live in San Francisco now), so I understand!
I was simply saying that I didn't change your headline to fit the usual standard of Player Name, followed by Team Name/Sport, followed by content/idea/prediction/etc. Your headline started with the team name and was followed by the subject name, but I thought that was a smart choice since Brian Banks isn't a name to generate a lot of hits or clickability. Your writing was fine, so I just made style corrections (26-year-old instead of 26 year-old, $1.5 million instead of 1.5 million dollars, etc.).
I really did like the content...can't believe she didn't think she should give the money back!
McCarron is not the problem with competing for a Heisman as a quarterback. The system he plays in is. While Alabama actually passes the ball more than Auburn over the last decade or so, the SEC is still a run first conference and McCarron is no running quarterback like RGIII or Andrew Luck. In fact the Alabama offense seldom has any plays designed for the quarterback to run. This leaves passing for him to make waves. Alabama simply will not pass the ball as often as USC, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Florida State, Clemson and others. While Cameron Newton was the exception due to his ability to run the ball, neither Auburn or Alabama are teams where a passing quarterback will ever wow voters with their production. McCarron is a good solid quarterback and may do even better this year, but that was not the point I was considering. If Auburn had Matt Barkley he would not be in the Heisman hype either.
Wonderful new articles, my beloved! I love you so, so much. <3
Hey boss where you been??? I miss your columns and input. Oh yea and Money May has more to lose by fighting PacMan which is why he should do it!
Yes I agree with you on Dre Kirkpatrick. I would leave him at corner, but alot of NFL teams run the cover 2 and so his best fit is at safety in that defense.
On Money Mayweather and PacMan I think neither one of them really want to fight each other, but if they do they want to suck as much cash out of it as they can
This is what I was talking about http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Mock-Draft-40-5010.html#0_undefined,0_
Hey Jimmy check this out. Per Wes Bunting of the National Football Post, Dre Kirkpatrick is getting looks as a free safety rather than a corner. He can play man to man, zone coverage and is fierce in run support. A sure physical tackler. Having a guy like that on your NFL defense is a DCs dream.
Thoughts?
Jimmy, I wan't picking on you as much as I was just mad about what this site has turned into. I know most of the time when I read one of your articles you reply to the comments. Also, I enjoy reading your articles.
I use to have time to check BR every day, now I don't and I'm not sure I would if I had the time.
I looked at 4 articles yesterday by 4 different people. All were at least 3 days old. There were only a few comments on any of them and not a one had a response from the author.
I love you, Jimmy!
Hey Jimmy glad to know I'm missed. I am just busy with work right now and my BTR radio show. let me know if you ever want to come on and talk Bama football or whatever.
