Kevin has yet to fill out a bio.
You have got to start writing again! For years you were the only reason I came to BR. No offense to other great AU writers, but you were the "granddaddy of 'em all" War Eagle
You think Chizik found a recipe for success in week three?
This guy died
care for a fan add?
Man, you've taken a hell of a beating, but you brought almost all of it on yourself, bro. I tried to tell you back in 2011 that Auburn was in for tough years without Newton and Fairley, because the coaching sucked, but... I think 2010 has clouded your judgement ever since it happened. Best of luck wherever you are, man.
tough season! Hope to see you back soon.
A novel approach to this problem
Tired of passing the buck? BLAME YOURSELF
Who has been supporting a bad hire for four years? Lying to yourself? Watching all the cheating and thuggery while turning a blind eye and saying "everyone does it"? Who claps when you ran Malzahn and Roof off, after saying for years they were great coaches? Who has been telling us Van Gorder and Loeffler weren't washed up losers?
YOU HAVE! BLAME YOURSELF
Who took up for AU when they paid cam? When you found Chizik had let Dyer go for months if not years before finally suspended him?
YOU DID. BLAME YOURSELF
Who has been saying Chizik is a disciplinarian when it is obvious he is a weak willed pleaser? Who praised Jacobs when he hired a man with a 5-19 record. YOU FANS DID
So quit blaming others. BLAME YOURSELF
Prognostication
As was the case in 2010, this is an Auburn team that will grow with the season. The difference is that the 2012 version is beginning ahead in development of where the 2010 team did.
Auburn starts the season with contests against Clemson and Mississippi State. There will be mistakes and flaws revealed in these two contests. Auburn should be able to overcome these early season hiccups and grow in development.
To end September, Auburn plays the defending SEC Champion at home. Auburn should make their national statement on September 22 and begin a challenge that could end the season in Atlanta.
LOL..You are leaving? Getting tired of being wrong all the time, eh? Or is it that people call you out on how wrong you constantly are? Funny. Please, for the comedic value alone, stick around, bud.

Funny McGrady quotes from the pre-season.
"Everyone knows that Auburn will pound the ball successfully. What some do not expect is that Auburn will have one of the most effective passing units in the conference this season."
Everyone except McGrady thought Auburn's offense would be average. Turns out the offense is abysmal. Guess everyone was wrong on that one. Regarding the "most effective passing game" comment...hysterical!!!
"Auburn will start the season with an effective offense that will get better every week. While it is the run that so many appear to be focusing on, it is the pass that will be dangerous to tough opposition. Auburn should move the ball effectively against every team they face this season."
Reality, offsense started off bad and has since taken on nose dive. Auburn's offense is almost as good as Army's offense...almost.
Other interesting McGrady preseason quotes.
"All things considered, it would be a miracle if this Alabama team were to put together a legitimate run at the SEC Championship in 2012."
Bama may not win the SECW, but bet your ass they will put together a "legitimate run." As with last year, Nov 3rd will determine the SECWC and most likely the SECC.
"Herbstreit made a comment that Alabama and LSU are much better than the rest of the SEC for 2012. A more likely scenario is that neither Alabama nor LSU is better than the rest of the SEC for 2012 and neither team is as good as they were in 2011."
What was obvious to everyone (except McGrady of course) before the season and still is obvious, Bama and LSU are head and shoulders above the rest of the other SEC teams. Maybe neither team is as good as they were in '11, but still better than the rest of the SEC.
