I am Daniel Woodley and I am 20 years old, studying a Journalism degree at Southampton Solent university. And this website has certainly given me a lot of practice on how to write blogs, which will become useful to me as a journalist.
I have been a huge follower of football ever since I was three years old, when my brother got me into the sport after watching Paul Gascoigne hit that stunning free kick past David Seaman in the 1991 FA Cup semi-final. It's no surprise then that I support Tottenham Hotspur!!
I watch football on a regular basis and have an interest not just in the English game but also internationally where I follow the Spanish, German, Italian and American leagues with a passion. Any form of football for me is entertaining (as long as its not the scottish third division!!)
I like to write blogs on a number of sporting issues not just football, as I also take an interest following rugby, tennis, formula one amongst other sports.
My biggest sporting highlight in my lifetime was that of Tottenham Hotspur when we beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Carling Cup final in 20n07, and in recent years the victory over Manchester City in May 2010 which claimed our champions league place for this season and the 3-1 victory over Inter Milan in the champions league have certainly been up their in my highlights.
I like to hang out with friends on a regular basis and play sports such as snooker, squash, football and badminton.
