To evaluate a NBA player by their statistics reports, several concepts and terms should be confirmed first. Here, let me introduce Luluyang formula:
Round value, which is abbreviated as RV, evaluates the approximate scores the ball-controlled team can get in a round.
RV= average points in a game divided by average rounds in a game

How to evaluate a player from the statment of APG, RPG, STLPG, BLKPG and TOFPG
PPG ?
In order to simplify the procedure, it had better transfer them to points. APG is simple, APG means score, therefore, points from APG= PS*APG, PS (average points gained per shot, for example in 2014 season, 100 shots 2 points plus 20 shots 3 points so the PS (point per shot) is 260/120=2.26.
RPG get scores when helping an offense made thus it is transfer to the RV values of points by multiple FG% and BLK destroy competitors RV*FG%, both contribute positive points of RV. Thus points =RV*(RPG+BLKPG)
STL and TOF are different from RPG and BLK. A steal destroy a offense of competitor and create a offense of own, so, steal is positive, and we calculate the value of points from steal by multiple 2 RV, while turnover is the exactly controversy of steal, so it is negative one, in summary, points from STLPG and TOFPG= 2*RV*(STLPG-TOFPG)

In a word, formula to calculate the total points is P=(PPG + APG* PS+ RV*(RPG+BLKPG)+2*RV*(STLPG-TOFPG))
Efficiency= P/time

Now we compare two NBA players from, above formula..
In 2013-14 RV=0.89

GP MPG FGM-FGA FG% 3PM-3PA 3P% FTM-FTA FT% RPG APG BLKPG STLPG PFPG TOPG PPG

P=(26+6.6*2.3+0.89*(6.7+0.3+2.6-7))=43.49 Efficiency =43.49/39=1.15

2013-14 Regular Season 34 34.6 6.7-14.4 .464 1.2-3.5 .356 4.9-5.6 .870 4.6 11.2 0.1 2.4 2.4 2.5 19.6
P=(19.6+11.2*2.3+0.89*(4.6+0.1+2.4-2.5))=49.45 Efficiency=49.45/34=1.5

Of course, to evaluate a player, it also need consider the role of players, the team performance and reliabilities, especially, the comparison of team performance when the player in court and off court.
It had better to evaluate players by positions, now there list the top 10 of each positions

PG: 1. C paul, 2. S curry, 3. T Parker, 4. D liard, 5. Westbrook 6. D rose 7. J. Wall 8.K irving 9. Rubio 10 T lawson
