I've been a huge sports fan for as long as I can remember. I was 5 when I got my first Brewers team set of baseball cards. It became an Easter tradition along with the jelly beans and marshmallow eggs.

I saw the Brewers in the '82 Series, but besides that my highlight was heckling both Dave Winfield and Eddie Murray. I was 10 at the time, and they had a hard time believing some kid would be that brutal. Welcome to Milwaukee boys!

Last year I wrote briefly for brewersmix.com, and decided to come here this year and give it a go. So far, so good. Sometimes I get quite perturbed when local sports writers suck at their jobs. One of them in particular really rubs me the wrong way, but I'm not going to say who. I just intend to write better articles than he. I don't think it should be too difficult.

I pride myself on being honest, fair, rational and passionate. Well rational at least 75% of the time anyway. Being a fan, there MAY be an occasion now and then where I get a bit biased and rationality takes a short siesta. Also, let it be known that I have a dry and somewhat sarcastic sense of humor. I just thought I'd warn everyone. No sense in letting it catch you off guard.
