Deryl W. Kratzer joined Tremco in 1984 as a Field Advisor in San Antonio, Texas. In 1989, he was promoted to Southern Regional Manager, handling Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. Deryl was promoted in 1991 to Southern Division Manager, handling the five southern most regions. In 1994, he moved to New Jersey to serve as the Eastern Division Manager. January 2000 saw Deryl promoted to Executive Vice President/General Manager of the Roofing and Building Maintenance Division. The division completed its most successful year in May 2002 with sales volume over $170 million and record earnings. On July 1, 2002, he was promoted to President for the Roofing and Building Maintenance Division of Tremco Incorporated and Weatherproofing Technologies Incorporated, a division of RPM Inc.

Deryl attended Texas Tech University and Texas A & I University studying Business Management with a minor in Journalism. He’s recognized by the Construction Specifications Institute as a Construction Documents Technologist.

Deryl is a member of the Roof Consultants Institute, the Standard Building Code Congress International, Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association, National Roofing Contractors Association, National Roofing Legal Resource Center, Association of Facilities Engineers, The American Society of Materials and Testing, ASTM D08 Committee, and a member of the National Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress. Tremco is also a founding member of the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing and Deryl is on the Board of Directors.

Deryl and his wife, Teresa, have three daughters, Amanda and Kristina and Kandis who all attended and graduated from Purdue University. His outside interests include golf, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Browns, and the Cleveland Indians.
