I'm a college graduate from Iowa State University, receiving a Liberal Studies degree with a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. During my tenure, I gained experience in writing and reporting by working for the Iowa State Daily, being a beat writer for the men's golf team and covering a variety of topics such as football, women's baskeball, and the summer games for the Special Olympics.

I've been a lead editor and staff writer on multiple sports blogs, including FanSided's Autzen Zoo and Clones Confidential and Bloguin's Lacrosse the Web.

Other interests and hobbies include discovering all kinds of rap music, playing a wide variety of video games, having a marathon of James Bond movies or favorite shows on Netflix, and disc golfing.
