College Football's Highest Paid Coaches - Are they worth it? You Decide

Growing up, sports in Jake's family was not a way to escape reality. It was life. He naturally acquired a love for teams that went back and forth from feast to famine. Growing up in the Washington D.C. area, Jake became a Redskins fan. His parents were raised in the south, so Alabama football and Atlanta Braves Baseball were in his DNA. Needless to say, if you're looking for a fair-weather fan, you've come to the wrong place.
After high-school, trying to figure out where to go to college had its difficulties. Jake had two qualities he was looking for; minimal math requirements for whichever major he decided on, and a stellar sports program. Ultimately he would end up at a mid-major school known to most as a commuter school. He ended up at George Mason University due to a job offer in the area that couldn't be passed up. Going to a school that didn't have a football program for Jake though was like going to a restaurant that didn't have food -- What's the point? Little did he know that in his junior year, he would have a front row view to every mid-major school's dream. A trip to the Final Four.
Due to a lot of hard work at George Mason, Jake earned a trip across the pond to Oxford University, where he studied International Economics, and participated in intercollegiate athletics as a member of the rowing team.
Jake now resides in the Washington D.C. metro area with his wife Kelly, where he works full time for the Justice Department.
