Eric Holden joined Bleacher Report in November of 2010 as a beat writer for New York metro-area sports. He comes to the site after completing a one year stint as a multimedia journalist for Patch (AOL LLC).
The Glen Cove native earned his Bachelor's Degree from Hofstra University, with a focus in history and print journalism. He also was a part of Glen Cove High School's graduating class of 2000.
He began his career in sports journalism writing for the fantasy baseball website Rotobots.com. As a lifetime supporter and fan of the New York Mets, Jets and Islanders, his deep-rooted interest in sports grew stronger through the years.
