I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and have been a sports fan of my native city since I can remember. I spent my childhood in ice rinks and played AAA hockey as teenager and ended my hockey career at the age of 18 after playing at Culver Military Academy and Gilmour Academy. My time at my High School Alma Mater allowed me to score the first ever, regular season goal for the Lancers. I also played on the 1997 inaugural Varsity Team and the 1998 inaugural Prep Team that is now nationally ranked.
As a graduate from Ohio University with a degree in Recreation & Sport Science I have since been very active in the outdoor sports industry, primarily the whitewater rafting and paddling industry. I have been a trip leader/raft guide and kayaking instructor in Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Washington. My time in Colorado lead me to being a part owner in a kayaking school for two years and the President of the Rocky Mountain Dawg Pound, the Fort Collins Chapter of the Browns Backers Worldwide.
I now reside in Seattle Washington where I am working at a ski shop and planning on guiding for a Washington based whitewater rafting company in the Spring and Summer of 2011. I am currently a member of the Seattle Browns Backers.
