A frequent guest on FOX Sports Radio as one of its golf INSIDERS, Robert Hartman has joined the bleacher report team to bring the latest breaking news and insight into the world of golf. From the amateur ranks, to NCAA circles and the PGA TOUR, Hartman has navigated the country to report on everything from Phil Mickelson's childhood backyard chipping area to the aquatic life at Augusta's famed 16th.
Hartman, 49, has authored two books, Masters of the Millennium & Tales From Pinehurst. His latest effort is called the Crow's Nest and is featured at www.crowsnestsports.com. Tales From Pinehurst: Stories From the Mecca of American golf, will be re-released by Skyhorse Publishing in 2012. Pinehurst is set to host both the U.S. Men's and Women's Opens in back to back weeks in 2014.
He earned an English degree from Hillsdale College, also attended the M. Stanton Evans school of journalism. Hartman earned his Masters degree (MALS) from Hollins University in 1999.
