Hey Sports Fans! I am choosing to write articles to express my unique views on sports. I focus primarily on Boxing and all Philly sports. Please comment and critique my articles. I am new at writing articles, so this serves as a way for me to practice my writing skills. I am going to Boston University in the fall of 2008. I plan on majoring in Classics and maybe Archaeology.

I've been spending time on our Boxing page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Article placement is determined by an algorithm that looks at, among other factors, the writer's ranking, the ratings by fellow writers and editors, popularity, and the age of the article. That said, we're always working to improve the algorithm and add more relevant inputs to how each article gets placed.

Glad you like the site, Teddy. I feel your pain about the Boxing section. The issue right now is how often the section gets updated. Typically we won't add a sport to the top nav bar until it is getting updated with new articles several times per day. So the best advice I can give is to keep writing and encourage your fellow boxing writers to do the same. In due time, boxing will make it up to the top.
