I am a high school varsity athlete, currently a senior, and have writing experience through a nationally accredited high school newspaper, the University of Minnesota and the Bleacher Report Writer Academy. My goal is to become a sports analyst, and eventually work for ESPN. I know a lot about almost every sport, league, team and athlete, but my favorite sports to cover are football, hockey and baseball.     After former Minnesota Wild center Sergejs Zoltoks died, the Wild retired his number, and when his only son came out onto the ice to drop the puck that night, and I saw the pain he was feeling, that touched me more than any victory, loss or battle I have ever seen with my own eyes in sports.
