Ron's Bio

Born, raised and currently residing in Philadelphia. My life as a sportsfan has been the motivation for my writing. Looking at the current state of sports makes me long for the days of my youth. From time to time I'll give you a blast of nostalgia which is always good and then maybe a cold, hard look at the world we live in today. Whatever I give you - just know that it'll be straight - no chaser.

And yes, I still long for the day when Broad St. will rain Championship confetti and flow with champagne.

  1. As not just an Eagle fan but an NFL fan, I think McNabb will carry the team on his shoulders.

I'm scared of it too, because no Westbrook=trouble.

  2. To be quite honest I'm scared to death of this game. Hopefully the players only meeting McNabb called this week caused some players to look at themselves. Reid should've sat in on it he's the main problem with this foolish playcalling

  3. Hey saw your profile on my friend James' wall. Finally an all-Philly fan. How do you like the Eagles chances this week against SF?

  4. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/67483-when-will-these-sportswriters-act-like-sportswriters-and-stop-gossiping

  5. Titans yes. Buffalo lost to a team that is amazing. I guarantee that Kurt Warner will stick it to the Pats since they no longer have Asante Samuel thanks to you. The Bills will face tough challenges, but I'm not sure who they are. Chargers will beat the Pats though and the Titans have a bye week so we'll have to wait to see if they are still the team to beat. Defense yes. but they have no real receivers except for Crumpler.

  6. I'm thinking it going to be tough either way. With Westbrook having two broken ribs then Philly is in severe trouble. But I refuse to believe that the Redskins are the best football team in the NFL.

You should win your next game. Its the division games you should worry about for now. Next one is the giants.

Who do you think is dominant in the AFC?

  7. I was amazed at the Monday Night game. I wanted the Eagles to knock off the Redskins, sadly it didn't happen and the Cowboys almost gave the game away which disgusted me. But overall I liked it. I wish I had the NFL channel to watch more of them. What did you think man?

  8. Ron, How much do you know the Eagles, I want to do an article about how the NFC East is the best division in football. You eagles, me cowboys and the other two guys are other writers i know. and could you give me your answer on my profile man. lol. I don't get informed if you answer my questions on your bulletin instead of mine.

  9. There's no word on Westbrook yet, he may be a gametime decision, Reggie Brown played last week, he's been a major disappointment IMO. Can't wait for Kevin Curtis to get back.

  10. You got a new fan in me man. How is Brian Westbrook and Reggie Brown? Maybe you can teach me about the Eagles. I need to learn much more to get better

  11. Sure I'll chat with you. Just don't hate on my Boys or Kurt Warner. I like the Eagles just not there fans that cheered when Irvin got a spine injury. Fav Eagle was Chuck Bednarik and Dick Vermeil. Check out my last article. It isn't objective but its getting popular
