About

Ross is uniquely a Sports Scientist and Writer all rolled into one. Graduating from the Loughborough University School of Sport and Exercise Science, he later became a coach at the English Institute of Sport working with many of Britain’s Olympic medallists during the 2008 and 2012 games. Now still very much involved in sports science as the Co-Founder of www.theproteinworks.com he's combined his love of writing with sport and regularly contributes for Menshealth, Mensfitness, Women's Fitness, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Daily Star and of course most importantly the Bleacher Report. His work can also be found on his Blog: http://rossedgley.com/

Basically if he's not studying sport, he's either playing it, watching it or writing about it.

Alex mate only just seen this (thanks so much by the way, my first comment on this section) :-) Anyway awesome shout, let me get this looked into since love the idea and could serve for inspiration on a recent article where i can really explore both the objective and subjective evidence, Plus you're right, genetically the dude's VERY different so exploring somatotyping and football could be VERY interesting buddy!

Hey man, have you ever worked with Victor Anichebe? People go on about how strong Benteke or Lukaku are, but I reckon he's the strongest player in the Prem (that I've ever seen) and was wondering if you can offer your insightful opinion as to whether he is. He seems to have an endomorphic body type, which is pretty rare for professional players.
