I am a native of Southern California, having grown up in Bell, CA, attended Bell HS and then off to the University of Oklahoma for one year, then transferred to USC for the balance of my education and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education. I took my first job as a teacher and freshman football coach at Gladstone HS in Azusa USD in 1969 and then became a Varsity Assistant in charge of the defense for 4 years before becoming the Head Football Coach at Gladstone from 1975-1980. In 3 short years, we took the Gladiators to their first ever Varsity Football Championship and then another trip to the playoffs in 1978. In 1980, I resigned to go into a budding career in real estate. After 30+ years in real estate I accumulated about every award you can win including the First Team Hall of Fame designation several times. Also included were awards for Most Listings Sold, Most Gross Commissions, California Top 100 and Nationally a member of the Top 2% of all Realtors in the Nation when I worked for Prudential California Realty for 11 years from 1986-1997 before joining First Team.
I have been married to my wife, Suzanne, since 1972 and we have two daughters, Tiffany and Melanie and one grandchild, Cayden who was born to Tiffany and Tino in 2009. Melanie is a writer and editor of books, manuscripts and other creative projects. I enjoy each day of my life.
Rain is coming to the LA area and that is not good for a passing team like USC. We hope the O line is ready for the challenge of a mudder! Curtis McNeal and Marc Tyler need to get out the mud cleats and spray those hands of the Wide Receivers with stickem'. My prediction is USC 21 Washington 13 if it rains. A dry day and it you can add to more touchdowns. Washington gives up a lot of point and their QB throws picks, so it will great game for the Trojans!
