Born and raised in Upstate New York, living in NYC for the past 10 years. Dad was an obsessive Giants fan. When they finally won the Super Bowl in '86 in I was 8 years old. That year they lost to only two teams: the Cowboys and the Seahawks. I watched the latter game with dad and asked him why they lost. He said it was because 'the Seattle fans were too damn noisy'. And that was it for me. I've been a dedicated chronically frustrated fan ever since (much to dad's complete and total perplexity). A pretty lonely obsession to voluntarily assume as a New Yorker, but a burden that I bear with pride (usually). I now live in India, where the likelihood of meeting another 'Hawks fan is only slightly lower.

Just can't wait to watch the Seahawks win a Super Bowl with my own son one day . . . and consequently turn him in to a lifelong Jaguars fan.
