I have just published a battle cry for (LSU) Tiger Nation. It's a must read for Tiger fans and it might be my best literary effort to date, I hope everyone will enjoy regardless of team or sport affiliation.

Welcome to the Bleacher report. We are glad to have someone with your fine background. You will find an exciting mixture of writers in here, some write for publications and this is their way of releasing pressure without a deadline or boss. Some write for web sites, and we often have articles picked up for national review. Some are Journalism students who wish to hone their craft. And, especially this time of year, we have a number of youthful idealistic students who keep us young and own our toes. And then you have some older retired/semi-retired folks who try to keep the discourse civil and the languaue acceptable to mixed company.

What we want to encourage is writing. This is not a chat room or a blogging site, there are places for that, we have links for you. We wish to solicit ideas, the currency of intelligence, and develop articles which can be picked up as national features, and the gathering of a large dependable group of writers who can give a fresh approach to a variety of sports on a regular basis.

I'm betting you're one of those, Matt. So get out the pen and write.
